This area is wide, open, and paved. To the east of the Esplanade lies the Great Arch and the Kolvir Stairs that lead down to the beach. On the south side starts the Great Concourse which travels downward to Ambertown and connects the town to the castle. In the center of the Esplanade is the emblem of the House of Amber, and it's on top of this emblem that the Amber trump takes you.

Several times a year there are festivals on the Esplanade. No booths are set up on the House emblem, and during festivals the emblem is roped off so no one can walk on it.

The Esplanade is constantly guarded.
