The Langley Stair is a flight of 70 steps that runs along the wall below Faiella's Garden and meets the Upper Ward at the top of the Portcullis Gate. It is named for Lady Ellis Langley, of the Golden Circle Kingdom Albion, who died falling down the steps. It is common belief that the Stair is haunted by her ghost.
